As you know, DH and I put a deposit down on a 2004 Gulfstream Yellowstone 30FSK. I love it - the ONLY thing is that it didn't have a fireplace and, because of you all, I ordered one and it just came in yesterday.
Apparently, I have too much time on the internet and ran across numerous complaints regarding Gulfstream. Most of them were regarding MH, however. This has made me concerned, although this 5'ver seems to be in impeccable condition. We are to pick it up on the 6th of January. This is a cash deal, it is in consignment at Auto Yard Shop (www.autoyard.shop)
Now, I ran across this: https://central-rv.net/?portfolio=2007-coachman-wyoming-332rlts
This dealer evidently is VERY small with only a few coaches available. Where we have our Gulfstream on hold is a HUGE dealership here in our location (Auto Yard Shop). This Central RV is in Ottawa, KS - about 3.5 hours from us.
Now, please give me your advice here on these two units. The Wyoming is about $4000 more than what we agreed upon for the Gulfstream. On the Wyoming, they will not budge on price. The Wyoming is 3 years newer and more fancy upgrades to it.
So, your expertise, opinions, etc., on these two coaches????? Is Gulfstream a good product? Wyoming better? We will NOT be FT in either coach - in fact maybe about 5-6 trips per year, so we don't need anything HUGE. The Wyoming is about 36'.
I can't wait to hear what you all have to say on what MAY be better for us down the road. Is Gulfstream a good product??? Coachman better????

I also just found the Wyoming on Ebay. Here is the link:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-COACHMEN-WYOMING-3-SLIDE-36-KING-BED-FIREPLACE-ARCTIC-KEYSTONE-RV-5TH-/380800723825?forcerrptr=true&hash=item58a97deb71&item=380800723825&pt=RVs_Campers
Would YOU buy a 5'ver from ebay????? Maybe it is just me, but while the coach looks GREAT, something is bothering me....???

You put a deposit down on the Gulfstream 5vr and bought a fireplace for it.....
Sounds like you have made a deal to buy the Gulfstream from Auto Yard Shop
You have seen/been in the Gulfstream (I'm guessing) and the other one is just advert with pictures somewhere in KS.
The Gulfstreamwas listed at $25K and the WY at $22K but you said the WY was $4k more so you have a deal on Gulfstream at $18K which is right between low & high retail (WY at $22K is right between low & high retail also)
Why is there a $1000 difference between Central RV & Auto Yard Shop????

Old Biscuit - that is another concern I have. On craigslist it is listed as a "Montana Wyoming" for $22800. However, on their website it is listed as a Coachman Wyoming for $21800. This "Nick" with Central RV said it was his secretary's mistake! Red flag to me. I think on Ebay it is listed for $22800.
Okay, I have made my decision - Gulfstream...we have already purchased items for it, including my fireplace! I think what has scared me was that Gulfstream is not getting really good reviews but I did read where certain years (2003 & 2004) were good years. Again, most of these reviews regarding Gulfstream were for MH, not 5'vers. Gulfstream Yellowstone it is!
